Questions

Frequently asked questions.

How does your dumpster rental service work?

Choose the right size for your project and check availability to pick a delivery date. On your delivery date, we drop off the dumpster, you fill it up, and we haul it away at the end of your rental. When you're finished early, just call or text — we'll come get it. If we don't hear from you, we pick up on the last day of your rental period. Deliveries run 8am-5pm; we can't guarantee an exact time since landfill wait times vary, but we'll call or text when we're on the way.

How do I know what size dumpster I need?

It depends on the project. A 15 yard is plenty for a small cleanout; a 30 yard is built for a large construction job. A lot of customers swap out mid-rental to keep working — we're happy to talk through options on the phone.

How soon can I get a dumpster delivered?

Often within 24-48 hours of booking. It depends on location and demand, so earlier is better. Same-day delivery is sometimes possible — call us if that's what you need.

How long can I keep my dumpster?

Standard rental periods are 3 or 7 days. Need more time? Extension rates are listed with each size — just let us know your schedule and we'll work with it. Looking at a long-term rental? Call us to talk through pricing.

How much does a dumpster rental cost?

It depends on size and rental length. See our sizes and rates for the current flat rate on each.

What materials can I put in my dumpster?

Residential trash, construction debris, house cleanouts, appliances, mattresses, and electronics are all fine. We do not haul concrete, dirt, or bricks — if a dumpster comes back overloaded with restricted material and our trucks can't take it, you'll need to empty it yourself and additional charges apply. Hazardous materials like chemicals, batteries, tires, and paint are prohibited.

What if I fill up my dumpster and need another one?

Happens all the time once a project gets going. We're glad to do a swap out — call the office to work out pricing and scheduling.

Do I need to be present when the dumpster is delivered?

No. Just make sure any special placement instructions are given to us when you book.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster rental?

If it's going on a public street or sidewalk, you may need one. Private property placements typically don't require a permit, but we can help you check local rules.

What surfaces can you place the dumpster on?

Pavement, concrete, dirt, or grass — the surface just needs to hold the weight of the dumpster and what's in it. We place boards under the wheels on delivery to help protect your property.

Any special requirements for where it sits?

We need a spot at least 15' long and 10' wide — big enough to park a pickup truck or SUV.

What happens if I exceed the weight limit?

Every size includes a set number of tons (listed with that size). Go over, and it's $95 per ton — our trucks are weighed at the dump, so this is based on actual weight, and we'll invoice the difference.

Are you responsible if the dumpster gets damaged?

Normal wear and tear is on us. Damage from ignoring placement instructions or loading with equipment instead of by hand is on the renter, up to and including the cost of replacing the dumpster — which is why we ask that everything go in by hand.

Do you require a deposit?

Payment is collected when you book, through checkout online.

What sizes do you offer?

15, 20, and 30 yard roll-offs, each available for 3 or 7 days. See sizes and rates for dimensions and pricing.
